
This course covers the topics required for basic first
aid and is used when a workplace does not require
someone to have the First Aid at Work qualification.
This is usually in places such as offices where the
risk for incidents and accidents is low. Candidates
attending this course will be equipped with the
skills and knowledge required to manage an
emergency at their workplace.

Course Content
- Role and responsibility of a First Aider
- Incident Management
- Provide first aid to an unconscious person
- Provide first aid to someone requiring CPR
- Management of a casualty who is in seizure
- Recognise and assist a casualty who is choking
- Provide first aid to someone with external bleeding
- Management of a casualty in shock
- Management and treatment of minor injuries (including cuts, bruises and nose bleeds)
- Recognise and treat minor burns and scalds
£105 plus V.A.T per person on our premises
