About Us

Established in 1994, the Safety Centre
is the world’s first safety education charity.

We lead in early intervention and preventative safety education through interactive, immersive, and memorable training. Our mission is to change behaviours and save lives by delivering practical and unforgettable safety education. We aim to embed essential safety knowledge into everyday behaviours, through fun and interactive visual and physical learning, empowering children, young people and adults to live safer lives.

We provide vital safety education at our immersive centre, Hazard Alley, in community spaces, schools, and virtually. Our programmes create safe spaces for discussing essential safety topics, helping to reduce future vulnerability, accidents, and crime.
